"A breath of country air" space

"A breath of country air" is blowing through the Fêtes de Genève!

This year, the Geneva terroir is invited into the city to introduce you to its green, rural world.

It is no coincidence that the canton of Geneva is home to Switzerland's largest wine-growing community and the first bison breeder in the country.

Stakeholders from our beautiful region's rural world, resolutely dynamic and passionate, are constantly reinventing themselves and are delighted to awaken all your senses in their own dedicated area.

Nearby, a greenhouse will house the restaurant Les délices du terroir – "Delights of the terroir"! A decorative vegetable garden, lined with market tables displaying local products and a lounge area will also feed your pilgrimage.

Exhibitions and events will turn the Jardin Anglais into a veritable haven of nature. The museum of agricultural equipment will unveil antique objects, tractors and other old tools, while the Federation of Genevan costumes will display traditional outfits.

Animals will also form part of the festival. Two cows will be the stars on 2 August.

Finally, yodelling and alphorn will entertain your ears around the Quatre-Saisons Fountain with roaming performances.

"A breath of country air" is the bubble of nature that will lead you to discover and enjoy a beautiful terroir, experiencing a rural moment suspended in time in the midst of the joyful frenzy of the festival.
