Program of the Geneva Festival

Sunday 3 August from 10am to 4pm

SlowUp

For the tenth year running, the countryside around Geneva is opening up 30 kilometres of roads and tracks to non-motorised transport. Discover the wonders of locally grown produce and specialities such as fruit, apple juice, wines from the canton, and a variety of snacks. Opportunities for delicious refreshments await you at Cologny, Rivollet Farm and Gy, with the Gytans and Gytanes of the village...

This year, as always, the official start takes place in the slowUp Village on the Quai Gustave-Ador at 10am, with the return planned for around 4pm. However you are under no obligation at all and may join the route or leave it whenever and wherever you wish, at the speed that suits you.

There’s just one key rule to follow: go in the same direction!

Be sure to check that your equipment is in good condition. If you’re on a bike, we strongly recommend that you wear a helmet. Repair stations will be dotted along the route for simple, minor repairs. Ditto for enthusiasts of rollerblading: protections and knee pads are always advisable. It’s important to respect the finish time, since as is the case every year lots of people will be present. Please be advised: after 4pm, the route will no longer be protected!

Enjoy your day!

Participants must be cover under a private insurance benefit
