Zouk Machine

Everything began for this outfit in 1985, when with the blessing of West Indian group Experience 7, Guy Houllier and Yves Honoré formed the trio of sexy and frenzied vocalists that was destined to become a legend. From their earliest appearances audiences were captivated, and their first disc “Sové l'anmour” set Afro-Caribbean dance floors alight and won the Maracas d'Or in 1986. But things really started to take off for them when Jane Fostin, brought up in musical family in Guadeloupe, was recruited to continue the group’s musical adventure, culminating in the planet-wide hit “Madlon” (Music under the skin). More discs, more hits and world tours were to follow. Two decades later, it’s Christiane Obydol who, as a duo, carries on the Zouk adventure with countless hits guaranteed to warm bodies and hearts.
