Geneva Festival wouldn’t have quite the same feel or flavour without its famous stands. A quick overview of the pleasant surprises that await you.

More than 150 food stalls dotted around the harbour offer a variety of dishes, drinks, cocktails and treats from all over the world.

Whether you’re a fan of exotic food or more traditional fare, the delights on offer are certain to tickle the taste buds and slake the thirst of young and old alike.

This year at Geneva Festival, be sure to visit the village of the guest country of honour, Portugal, located near the fountain in the Jardin Anglais, where among other things you can discover its culinary specialities.

Flavours from near and far

What will you choose from the Geneva Festival menu? For starters, we are pleased to offer a particularly varied choice to delight the foodies among you. We also have a wide variety of dishes on offer that are prepared quickly and are always fresh, for you to eat on the go with no need for cutlery. Typical local specialities from Geneva, as well as France and Belgium, give off their enticing aromas. You’ll find dishes with a hint of sunshine and chilli, direct from Italy, Spain, Portugal, Lebanon and even Brazil. Discover delicious combinations, subtle flavours and rare spices from Africa, Thailand, Japan and China. To round it all off, leave a little room for our selection of sweets and desserts. A big selection of crêpes, waffles, ice creams, churros and toffee apples are there to choose from, not to mention candyfloss and sweets galore!

Since 2003, a tasting panel with representatives from the Organising Committee and oenologists has carefully selected the five official grape varieties of the Geneva Festival. The chosen few are:

Stands... under close surveillance

Thanks to support from the Department of Consumer and Veterinary Affairs, the Commerce Services and the Civil Security, the welfare of all guests is in good hands. Refrigerators, fire extinguishers, serviettes, temperatures – everything is inspected in line with the standard codes of practice.
