Waiters and waitresses race

Move along, there is everything to see (and drink) !

Sunday 11 August, 3.30 pm

17th year organised by the Geneva Society of Café, Restaurant and Hotel Owners.

For some time, this exciting race has required no introduction. As dynamic as it is fun, this is the cherry on the cake of the Geneva Festival. Rhythm and tempo are the defining factors in this unmissable race of waiters and waitresses, which has become a world-famous tradition in Geneva. This is a job that requires lots of know-how and real physical stamina.

Though this may seem like a real mission impossible, these seasoned professionals run a great race against the clock, watched and cheered on by enthusiastic crowds. So, now you know all about this upcoming event, which is certainly no picnic! It’s all about dexterity, self-control and experience.

Please note: the rules and regulations of the race are available from the Geneva Society of Café, Restaurant and Hotel Owners’ website www.scrhg.ch
