The Animen

A vintage yet contemporary sound set to words and music by five youngsters from Geneva whose accomplished guitar work (acoustic and electric) showcases the gravelly and intoxicating vocals of Theo Wyser. The press, not only in Switzerland but elsewhere too, have been full of praise for this young group reminiscent of great names such as Otis Redding and The Sonics. After gigging the length and breadth of French-speaking Switzerland, this year they released their first album “Hi!” whose eleven pulsating tracks treat the listener to generous helpings of groove, rock n’roll and soul.
