Make The Girl Dance
Greg and Pierre are a French duo who for three years have been energizing the planet’s coolest clubs, pouring into our ears (if that’s possible!) electronic hits with instantly recognisable titles such as “Baby Baby Baby”, “Wall Of Death” and “Kill Me”, featured in the latest Nivea Q10 advertising campaign. Online, too, their new video “Girlz” is not to be missed! They may have a name that makes girls go misty-eyed but their sound belies the stock image, revealing a canny mix of wide-ranging influences: electronic, rock, folk and hip-hop. Say what you will, their music is designed first and foremost to get girls dancing – and ipso facto boys – in as many ways possible, from the smooch to rather more energetic workouts. Their last album “Allo?” speaks volumes on this subject, being a refined mix of pop, soft and hard rock. After getting naked girls to parade through the streets of Paris, the group got Nabilla dancing. Yesss!
